Born into a family of artists I was brought up and still live mainly in Somerset where I have my studio. Having trained at the Byam Shaw in London in the 1980’s and working in oil and watercolour, I usually paint landscapes, still life and interiors. I have exhibited widely and my work hangs in collections all over the world.
Title is Vigilance. The rural scene appears very tranquil and the only predator in sight is the fox. However hidden in the country landscape today are far more dangerous predators – those who hold victims in slavery and exploit them for agricultural labour, sexual services and domestic servitude. I invite you to look at the countryside with new eyes.
