Fundraising
Have fun and fundraise at the same time. We are grateful for all who have contributed. From abseiling to coffee mornings and chest waxing to car boot sales you can help make a difference to someone’s life and have fun at the same time!
Amaze your friends and contribute. We are happy to discuss your project with you or suggest individual or group activities.
The Sparrows Project is supported by the HPC Community Fund.
Volunteering
We are always looking for volunteers to contribute to our aims of eliminating trafficking in the Somerset Area. In particular have you any particular experience such as IT, fundraising or any other life skill which you believe may be of assistance? Subject to completion of required training and DBS checks would you be able to befriend a survivor? Or again after training would you be prepared to participate in any publicity event?
At the moment we are developing a pool of volunteers who will be able to provide time limited support to survivors as well as compiling a separate list of those with language skills to act as interpreters.
If you feel able to contribute in this or any other way, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss any thoughts you may have.
Keep Updated
Although the long term aim of Sparrows is to provide accommodation and support for survivors we are considering how best we can:
- Contribute to anti slavery day in October;
- Seek to raise awareness and support in specific business and commercial areas;
- We will be periodically updating our supporters by email and if you wish to receive such information, please subscribe to our email updates.
